Dynamic modeling, simulation, and parameter study of electric quadrotor system of Quad-Plane UAV in wind disturbance environment

Quad-Plane UAV(quadrotor fixed-wing hybrid vertical take-off and landing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) is vulnerable to wind disturbance in quadrotor mode, the performance of electric system directly affects its rejection performance. To study optimize precisely efficiently, a dynamic simulation integrating high-precision submodels components required. However, there are few papers on this kind system. This paper proposed with both high computational efficiency precision, it can be used optimization flight Quad-Plane. The includes rotor, brushless direct current (BLDC) motor, electronic speed controller (ESC), Li-ion Polymer battery. surrogate-based rotor model established calculate aerodynamic oblique flow. BLDC motor calculation considering inductance presented power loss ESC considered. discharge characteristics battery modeled rate capacity effect. All validated results show good agreements test data. A mode conducted validate integrated that has advantages precision. Based system, influence parameters furthermore found, conclusions helpful selection components.
